‘Pathways of Hong Kong’

Pathways are an important part of our lives.  We are faced with many pathways from an early age, we must choose them wisely as we grow older, proceeding with instinct.  There is wonder and excitement when walking new pathways.

These artworks were inspired by pathways in Hong Kong, all of the artworks were painted with one stone.  The stone represents nature that surrounds our homes and villages.  The marks created with the stone are raw and create abstract final resolutions.

Anthony Fryer was educated in the United Kingdom.  He studied Art and design at the famous Shelley Park Art College in Bournemouth. He then studied his Fine Art degree at Southampton University where he exhibited work namely in the Beatrice Royal Gallery in Southampton and the Royal College of Art Hunting Prize exhibition in London.  More recently (October 2023) Anthony Fryer was selected out of 55 artists around the world to exhibit in Christie's Hong Kong, through Asia Art Archive.
